VIP REWARDS PROGRAM

Information in the Schedule forms part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

End Date: 28 February 2022 at 11.59pm AEST

Eligible Entrants Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be a resident of Australia. However, the Ladbrokes Tasmanian Summer of Racing Luxury Tassie Weekender Competition (or any other Promotion through this Website) is not open to residents of ACT, SA or NT.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related entities are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, brother, sister, step-brother or step-sister. Volunteers working for the Promoter are eligible, however.

Cost Entry into the VIP Rewards Program is free.
How to register and participate 1.     Register

To enter the Promotion, each Eligible Entrant must, before or during the Promotional Period, register on the website for the Promotion – summerofracing.com.au (Promotion Website). They then become a Registered Participant.

Registered Participants will only be able to participate in the Promotion from the date of registration. If the registration of a Registered Participant is cancelled or deactivated at any stage, they will no longer be in the Promotion and will not be eligible for any entitlement from that time.

2.     Participate

Registered Participants can complete any Qualifying Activities in order to earn Rewards Points. Rewards Points will be received into a Registered Participant’s VIP Rewards Account once the Promoter receives confirmation that they have earned Rewards Points by correctly completing a Qualifying Activity.

The number of Rewards Points that a Registered Participant can earn for each Qualifying Activity is represented in the table below:

Check in at a Tasmanian Racetrack on a feature race day, using the QR code located near the entrance to the track. Limit is 1 check in per person. 50 points
Limits on Entry Eligible Entrants can only register once to become a Registered Participant and cannot register multiple times.
Rewards Registered Participants that have sufficient Rewards Points balance in their VIP Rewards Account may redeem their Rewards Points in exchange for Rewards that are listed in the Rewards Shop on the Promotion Website and outlined in the table below:

Unused Rewards Points Any Rewards Points that a Registered Participant has in their VIP Rewards Account after 28 February 2022 at 11.59pm AEST will not be able to be used and these will be expired and deleted. No compensation will be payable to the Registered Participant if this occurs.

FURTHER DETAILS

1. Participation

(a) These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Promotion. By participating in the Promotion and using this Website, you accept these Terms and Conditions, including the Website Terms of Use, in full, and agree to abide by them. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must not participate in the Promotion.

(b) We reserve the right to request information to verify the validity of registration and entries including: proof of identity and/or proof of Australian residency status. Acceptance of verification information is at our sole discretion. Our decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into after making a final decision. We reserve the right to disqualify any Registered

Participant for tampering with the entry process or for registering or submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

(c) We may terminate the participation of Registered Participants in the Promotion immediately without notice where Registered Participants:

i. fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or Website Terms of Use;

ii. provide misleading information or make a misrepresentation to us;

iii. engage in unlawful conduct or misconduct to jeopardise the integrity of the Promotion; or

iv. abuse any of our employees or third parties that are involved with this Promotion.

(d) Termination of a Registered Participant in the Promotion by us will result in the Registered Participant no longer having access to their VIP Rewards Account and their Rewards Points accrued during the Promotion will be deleted.

(e) Any incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

2. Rewards Points

(a) Rewards Points:

i. cannot be re-issued once they have expired;

ii. cannot be purchased by Registered Participants;

iii. will not be refunded to Registered Participants once they have been redeemed for Rewards;

iv. cannot be transferred from one Registered Participant to another;

v. cannot be exchanged for or substituted by money; and

vi. will not be awarded in relation to any Qualifying Activities that are cancelled. We may deduct Rewards Points that have been awarded in relation to Qualifying Activities that have been cancelled. (b) Existing FORMPLUS Alerts account holders on www.tasracing.com.au will receive 25 Rewards Points in their VIP Rewards Account upon becoming a Registered Participant. These Participants must send an email to us at rewards@summerofracing.com.au to confirm their eligibility as an existing FORMPLUS Alerts account holder in order to receive the 25 Rewards Points.

(c) Rewards Points earned for completing a Qualifying Activity may take up to two (2) business days to appear in the VIP Rewards Accounts in some cases.

(d) Rewards Points can be redeemed until 11.59pm AEDT on 28 February 2022.

(e) We reserve the right to reverse or cancel any Rewards Points credited to a Registered Participant incorrectly or not in accordance with, or in breach of, these Terms and Conditions or the Website Terms of Use at any time.

(f) We reserve the right to delete any Rewards Points earned by a Registered Participant if they have breached these Terms and Conditions or Website Terms of Use.

3. Qualifying Activity

(a) We may change the details in the table in the Schedule regarding Qualifying Activities and/or the amount of Rewards Points earned for completing each Qualifying Activity at our sole discretion.

(b) Any Qualifying Activities regarding social media shares will require Participants to visit the Website and click on a link that will share a message that will include a changing hashtag (#).

(c) In our sole discretion, we may offer opportunities such as a “Double Points Day”, whereby Participants can earn double the amount of points for Qualifying Activities within the times and dates set by us. Notice of such opportunities will be advertised on this Website and via email.

4. Rewards

(a) We may change the details in the table in the Schedule regarding how many points are required to be surrendered to receive a Reward, or add or remove any Rewards at any time at our sole discretion.

(b) Once requested by Registered Participants, Rewards will be processed and provided/sent to them within two (2) weeks of the request. Rewards needing to be sent via post will be sent via registered post to the Registered Participant’s address, and Rewards needing to be sent electronically will be sent via email to their email address.

(c) Rewards cannot be refunded or exchanged once requested.

(d) We are not liable for any of the Rewards once they have been received by Registered Participants.

(e) We may cancel or request the return of any Rewards received by Registered Participants who have breached these Terms and Conditions or the Website Terms of Use.

(f) If the Reward is a voucher, the voucher is valid until the voucher expiry date specified on the voucher or as otherwise specified by the provider of the voucher and is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by that provider.

5. General

(a) We may, in our sole discretion, amend these Terms and Conditions with any changes that we see fit, subject to the conditions of any authorities in each state and territory, where required.

(b) We will give you notice of any change to the Terms and Conditions, at our sole discretion, via the Promotion Website or via direct communication to Registered Participants.

(c) The time of registration into the Promotion or redemption of Rewards Points will in each case be the time the online request is received by our database, not at the time of transmission by the Registered Participant.

(d) We accept no responsibility for late, misdirected registration or requests, or requests not received for any reason during the Promotional Period, including for any periods of unavailability or technical difficulties with the Promotion Website.

(e) We may, in our sole discretion, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion if in our opinion unforeseen circumstances occur beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to, technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud.

(f) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, we (including our officers and employees) are not responsible for and exclude all liability

(including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including but not limited to, where arising out of:

i. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not in our control);

ii. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

iii. any Promotion entry, Rewards Points or Reward claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by us) due to any reason beyond our reasonable control

iv. any variation in Reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;

v. if any of the Rewards, are cancelled, delayed, suspended or postponed for any reason by a third-party provider or beyond our reasonable control;

vi. any tax liability incurred by the Registered Participant as a result of a Reward; or

vii. taking/use of a Reward and/or participation in any element of the Promotion.

(g) The personal information of Registered Participants will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this Promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, the Promoter’s related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors for the purpose of processing and conducting the Promotion) and for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements surrounding this Promotion. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may publish the recipient of a Reward or the winner’s surname, first initial and state of residence (if relevant). By entering this Promotion, Registered Participants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the Registered Participant. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy can be viewed on tasracingcorporate.com.au. Eligible Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information by contacting the Promoter on (03) 6212 9333 during office hours or contact the Promoter in writing at admin@tasracing.com.au.

(h) These conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, and where applicable, each of the relevant States/Territories.

6. Definitions

(a) Qualifying Activity means an activity or method that earns Rewards Points in accordance with the table in the Schedule.

(b) Registered Participant means an individual that has registered on the Promotion Website and has been accepted by us.

(c) Rewards means benefits that Registered Participants can redeem with Rewards Points in connection with the Promotion in accordance with the table in the Schedule.

(d) Rewards Points means the points which may be earned by Registered Participants of the Promotion through Qualifying Activities and exchanged for Rewards in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

(e) Rewards Shop means the online shop where Rewards are listed on the Website, where Registered Participants can redeem Rewards Points or can purchase Rewards.

(f) VIP Rewards Account means the online account that is created for you when you are accepted as a Registered Participant in the Promotion, whereby you can manage and view your Rewards Points.

(g) Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions that govern the Promotion.

(h) Website or Promotion Website means summerofracing.com.au, as owned and operating by Tasracing Pty Ltd (ACN 137 188 286) under the domain name of summerofracing.com.au.

(i) “We”, “Us” and “Our” means Tasracing Pty Ltd (ACN 137 188 286).

(j) “You” and “Your” means you as a Registered Participant and the user of this Website.
